Wynn's Belgium, the Belgian operation of Wynn Oil Company, signed a joint-venture with MEKUBA PETROLEUM Ltd in Madras at the beginning of June 1997. The new company, WYNN'S MEKUBA INDIA started production and commercial activities in February, 1998.

Local presence is necessary to meet the needs of the quickly growing Indian market. After having studied every aspect of the Indian car market, special formulas were developed at the Wynn's laboratories in Belgium and the USA with active involvement of the chemical specialists of Mekuba. As a result of this collaboration, a full range of top quality products has been specially developed for the Indian market.
